Book Review: Baby I'm For Real by W Brigham

Baby I'm For RealBaby I'm For Real by W Brigham
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Great read

As always another great read from the author. It was full of twist and turns from beginning to end. I wasn't sure if Kane was going to get it together with all the trouble he caused. Even with his old flames popping up he was able to marry and the one that held his heart.

A short read but is packed with valuable information for every author new and seasoned. I loved that it was broken down into small chapters that had various actions for you to complete to help reinforce what you learned. Through reading this book I was able to go back review my website and make changes to it. This is definitely a book that I will keep on hand as a reference.

Book Review: Back From Broken...A Dancers Journey Back To Wholeness

Title:  Back From Broken...A Dancers Journey Back To Wholeness
Author:  Rosheka Henry
Publisher:  JNF Enterprises
Reviewed By:  LaToya Murchison

About The Book

"BACK FROM BROKEN" is the story of one woman’s journey back to wholeness. It is one woman’s pursuit to getting rid of what was holding her back from being who God has called her to be. This story will give you the heartbreak and bitterness that one holds onto but decides to let go of so that Wholeness can begin.  This book will enlightened you, teach you what you need to know and empower you, and equip you with the tools that you need in order to walk in your wholeness, the last thing that I hope that this book can do for you is to impact you.

Review:
Back from Broken had a main focus on the church and the issues the author had with them. At times reading this book was hard because the chapter text did not always match the text and at time it jumped between different stories at once. There were also some words out of place. Also she referenced the word of God but did not supply verses to support her statements. I do admire her for her willingness to share her story.

I was given a complimentary copy of this book by the author for an honest review.

Book Review: When a Man Loves a Woman: A Season of Change by Tumika Patrice Cain

When a Man Loves a Woman: A Season of ChangeWhen a Man Loves a Woman: A Season of Change by Tumika Patrice Cain
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

When a Man Loves a Woman: A Season of Change brings out a lot of emotions because it deals with various issues that are happening today. Avery and Alicia feel in love with each other instantly. Where Avery played close attention to her Avery missed an ignored signed of him being crazy. This book reminds you of the importance of getting to know someone. It also shows us that the way a man treats his mother is a direct indication as to how he will treat you.

Book Review: There is Purpose in Your Valley: Understanding Life's Struggles

There is Purpose in Your Valley: Understanding Life's Struggles There is Purpose in Your Valley: Understanding Life's Struggles by Dr. Arlene Kearns Dowdy
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

There is Purpose in Your Valley: Understanding Life's Struggles I can't say enough great things about the book. After only reading the first few page it had me in tear because I am dealing with some things. This amazing book truly ministers to your heart and soul. Dr Dowdy breaks down the word of God so that it is easy for every one to understand. All of lessons in There is Purpose in Your Valley: Understanding Life's Struggles are backed up by scripture from God's word. This is not a book that you read in sitting because if you try you will miss the true blessing of its message. I high recommend this book and know I will be reading it again very soon.

BOOK REVIEW: King's Suite The Rise of Pooch Smalls by Untamed

King's Suite The Rise of Pooch SmallsKing's Suite The Rise of Pooch Smalls by Untamed
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the first book that I have read by Author Untamed and I truly enjoyed. Although it was a short read it was a real page turner. Pooch went from being a little boy to becoming the King of his own organization over night. King's Suite The Rise of Pooch Smalls shows just how fast the street life takes over our young men because they feel it is the only way to provide for their family and it is the only life they know.

This book was provided free by the author though an online contest.

BOOK REVIEW: A Gentleman’s Agreement by Joy Avery

A Gentleman's AgreementA Gentleman’s Agreement by Joy Avery
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Another great book by Author Joy Avery. I had to make myself take a short break from reading because I was just that into the book and several hours had passed. A Gentleman’s Agreement shows us that things don’t always go as we plan them. You can never plan for the unexpected especially when it comes to the matter of the heart. I highly recommend this book as a great read and looking forward to her next release.
