Book Spotlight: Worth the Wait by NiaShanta Ross

Natalia McClinton is a saved, successful, celibate and beautiful young professional who appears to have it all. She has the job of her dreams, great friends, and a great relationship with Christ, but one thing is missing—someone to share it with. Even after surviving a devastating break-up with her ex-fiancĂ©, Jarvis Tate, she still believes that true love exists and that it will be Worth the Wait. But will Natalia’s low self-esteem and guarded heart keep her from surrendering to the man of her dreams?
After finally gaining the courage to leave her abusive boyfriend and the father of her two children, Razlyn Landry finds herself pregnant yet again with his child. How could she have let this happen? And how desperate is she to find a man who will love her the way she believes Christ loves the church?

Giselle Lemeaux, the first of the three friends to wed, has a loving husband, a flourishing business, and a beautiful body that could easily grace the front page of any fashion magazine. But there is still a void; a void that only one person can seemingly fill— her conniving high school and college sweetheart turned NFL superstar—Deitrick Slaughter. Now that he has returned to New Orleans, will Giselle fall under his spell again?

Join these three college girlfriends who are trying to follow the voice of God but find themselves in situations that test their faith and their strength in ways they never imagined.

Meet Author NiaShanta Ross

NiaShanta Ross is an educator, avid reader, and a fresh new voice in the Christian Fiction world. Her debut work, Worth the Wait, is receiving a great deal of buzz in the genre. When she’s not writing, she is teaching high school sophomores and college freshmen composition and literature. In her spare time, she enjoys extreme couponing, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. She lives in a suburb of Dallas, TX with her husband, mother, and stepdaughter.

Reading has always been a pastime of mine. I have always enjoyed the opportunity to escape into a world created by authors. I am a hopeless romantic, so I tend to read books in the romance genre. My favorite authors include Michelle Stimpson, ReShonda Tate Billingsley, Kendra Norman Bellamy (Holmes), Tia McCollors, Rhonda McKnight, Sherri Lewis, and Victoria Christopher Murray. This is by no means an exhaustive list, but just a few of my favorite faith-based authors.
